Sensory Stimulation

  • Creates sensory-rich environments with a variety of textures, sounds, smells, and visual stimuli to engage children's senses.

  • Provides a wide assortment of tactile and olfactory stimuli: Putty, slime, differently-colored and weighted kinetic sands, wet & dry clay, play-dough, essential oil rollers & sprays, and more!

  • Offers sensory breaks or activities that allow children to self-regulate and reset their sensory systems when needed.

Art & Imagination

  • Encourages open-ended play and creative expression through the visual arts, music, reading, improvised storytelling, and imaginative play.

  • Provides numerous art materials, from clay to hundreds of colored pencils, to inspire creativity and imagination. 

Kindness & Empathy

  • Models kindness and empathy in interactions with children and others.

  • Uses stories, role-playing, and discussions to teach children about empathy, perspective-taking, and the importance of treating others with respect and kindness.
